Product Manager- Industrial Products| FAMCO | Dubai
About the Position:
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Product Manager - Industrial Products t in Dubai. Reporting to the Divisional Manager, you will be responsible for the Product & Project Management operations for Compressed Air business and W&H business areas, to achieve division's strategic and tactical objectives
You will be working in close coordination with Divisional Manager and UAE Sales Team for business development and product Market share improvement. Ensure sufficient stock availability & healthy inventory turnover days in FAMCO interest. You will also ensure Gross Margin realization, by negotiating and closing the deals protecting FAMCO interest with Principals and review of Contract T &C's to ensure protection of Famco interest.
Specifically, your key responsibilities are as follows:
  • Ensure Budgeted Gross Margins are met on deals by successfully negotiating with principals for better buying price and commercial inputs communicated to UAE sales Team on such basis.
  • Promote Consultative selling approach by Leading Sales Team on Technical discussions on Projects with customers and ensuring Techno commercial compliance on product through proper coronation with Principal.
  • Leading Sales Team on Execution of Engineered Projects through coordination with all the Internal and External stake holders
  • Principal Management operations - Preliminary contact with Principals for all the daily business-related activities as well us long term strategies and maintaining the business relation with key persons on different hierarchical level.
  • Ensure sufficient stock availability for Sales Operations. Also, to ensure Inventory Turn days in the best interest of company by eliminating the addition of Aged units. Launch Sales Promotion campaigns on intervals to boost sales and quick inventory Turn over
  • Brand Promotion activities such as Customer Open House, Exhibitions participation, Website updates etc.
  • Remain abreast with latest regulations, standards and good working practices within the industry in relation to the Industrial sector including O&G

About You:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications, knowledge and skills:
  • Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Distributor and dealer experience, Industrial Product Knowledge (Compressor/Winches), Strategic Planning and Development Strategies are must have for this role
  • Experience of working in the UAE on Product Management function is an advantage
  • Air solutions & Winches product knowledge as well as Unit Pricing Knowledge
  • Good level of communication skills on different hierarchies
  • Experienced with executive level negotiations and techno commercial offer preparations
  • Good understanding of EPC/O&G regulations and Contracts/Agreements review
  • Customer focused, team player, calm, confident and capable of responding to different product management calls
