Job summary
You will play a key role in developing a leadership position for Amazon within MENA. You will own the improvement plans in MENA 3PL that requires dive deeps, improvement plans and change management. You will provide the continuous improvement support to the Program Managers of UAE, Saudi, Egypt and Export. Through this role you will be able to drive improvement at
. Performance management metrics reviews (cost, speed, quality, etc.) for outbound transportation and derive develop improvement plans from it
. Continuous improvement initiatives with carriers, fulfilment centers, and customer service teams to improve customer experience, costs and processes
. Improvement projects tracking and realization of productivity.
. Change Management Process to ensure that continuous improvement are not imposing risk and are providing a consistent and sustainable improvement.
. Drives root-cause analysis and the successful implementation of corrective actions.
Key job responsibilities
. Own Dive Deeps and Root Cause Analysis for MENA 3PL transportation issues.
. Own change management process within MENA 3PL team.
. Track improvement projects and their realized benefits.
. Improve Carrier capability for dive deeps and data analytics as required.
. Become the single point of contact of MENA 3PL with analytics team for dashboard improvement and requirements.
A degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, Engineering, Mathematics or similar field . Relevant experience in Transportation or Supply Chain, preferably in a similar role, within a high-volume logistics, manufacturing or engineering environment
. Ability to drive complex analysis, and making data driven decisions
. Fluent written and spoken English .
. Advanced SQL.
. Six Sigma Green Belt.
. Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment . Proficiency in Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps)
Master's level degree or higher preferred.
Fluent written and spoken Arabic
Familiarity with operations and supply chain management concepts - forecasting, planning, optimization, logistics - gained through work experience or graduate level education.
Communication skills, ability to address broad audience and provide a clear message.
Commercial understanding and experience in managing cost.
