Job Description

Degree/Diploma in Engineering.
OHS, Environment, Quality management System Diploma (or) Certificate

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Initiate, oversee or develop policies, workplace procedures, and guidelines related to integrated Management System issues
2. Ensuring that processes needed for the management system are established, implemented and maintained
3. Develop and create tools and resources to assist top management to conform with IMS integrated management system standards (NQA-1, ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO18001, SA8800, OSHAD-SF and Security management system of Abu Dhabi) and applicable laws and regulations
4. Monitor, evaluate and review existing, new and upcoming quality, environment and Health and Safety legislation and ensure systems and procedures in place to meet legal compliance. Provide leadership and direction to operating managers regarding effective accident investigation and management and return to work programs.
5. Work proactively with managers and other key staff to establish and maintain a programe of continuous improvement in the management of EHS within their areas of responsibility, which includes conducting regular audits.
6. Develop, in consultation with the top management, practical solutions to resolve Quality, safety, security, environmental and social non-conformance issues.
7. Monitor the effectiveness of company accident and loss control programs, analyze and interpret accident statistics and communicate this information to the various levels of supervision.
8. Ensure systematic surveys of various elements of the work environment to ensure acceptable levels of employee exposure for safety and environmental aspects.
9. Participate in the EHS Committee meetings in a honorary secretary role, ensuring that suggestions are properly evaluated and providing guidance on OH&S issues.

11. Participate in CSR policy, action plans and activities
12. Implement the Quality Assurance Manual when applicable
13. Verifying the quality affecting activities are performed in accordance with applicable procedures
14. Assist in QA training and indoctrination of company employees who are requires to work according to this manual as required
15. Implement internal and external audits by coordinating with concern persons and providing follow-up documentation when required
16. Establish and implement a system for collection storage and maintenance of records required to furnish evidence of activities affecting quality
17. Propose disposition of nonconforming product
18. Propose the internal lead auditor and the internal auditors and organize systems audits.
19. Participate to take decision regarding the nonconformance proposed dispositions
20. Stop work on nonconforming items or where nonconforming practices are identified when such action is warranted
