Our client is now recruiting for a Quality Control Manager. You will be directly reporting to the MD, CEO. This position will be based in Bahrain

Role Objective
• Develops and deploys the quality plan effectively- Develops and deploys the quality plan and ensures that it is documented and accessible throughout the organizations. Documents include but are not limited to policies, procedures, work instructions, forms necessary to meet business requirements and quality system standards.
• Selects, interprets and applies quality management tools effectively-Selects, interprets and applies quality management tools (cause and effect diagrams, flowcharts, control charts, check sheets, scatter diagrams, histograms, root cause analysis, PDCA, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), statistical process control (SPC), Kanban and value stream mapping) in various situations
• Develops and monitors the quality mission and policy and ensures alignment with the organization’s broader mission.
• Develops systems to capture quality control records and analysis-Develops systems to capture quality control reports by using a variety of quality check and assurance forms
• Designs and conducts outsourced Jewellery quality audit and evaluate corrective and preventive action plans, provides feedback and monitors outsourcing Factories performance
• Conduct Quality control audit of diamond jewelleries across the boutiques as on when planned b y company
Key accountabilities
• Implementing Quality Policies and Stage Wise Quality control checks
• Make sure 100% factory production goes through quality control and maintain records of all
• Maintain Process wise Quality Control records and updating Management on monthly basis with reports and action plan
• Monthly QC reports and action plan, Meeting with HOD’s and workers
• Maintain Customer order QC reports
• Quality control training of employees and maintain records of the same
• Incoming QC records of Diamonds and maintain records of the same
• Incoming QC Records of Color stones and maintain records of the same
• Incoming QC records of Findings and maintain records of the same
• Plan and execute Internal quality control audit
• Implementing Quality Control Module in system
• Issuing Quality control instructions for all new orders
• Issuing QC instructions and technical instructions for all new prototypes
• Maintain Quality assurance manual and update the same as on when the amendments come
• CVD test reports of diamonds and Jewelleries and maintain record in systems
• Plan and conduct QC assurance of diamond Jewelleries in company’s boutiques
• Quality standardization and continual improvements

Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree
Experience
•Minimum 5 years experience in Jewellery QC. Diamond grading knowledge
Behavioural competencies
• Should work under minimal supervision
• Proactive and team player
• Ability to work under pressure and perform well
Technical Competencies
• Very Good knowledge in Jewellery QC
• Computer skill. Excel, Word, power Point presentation
• Diamond grading knowledge
• Should be very prominent in Jewellery QC standards
