  • Job requires 70% travel within MEA region
  • Develops the business development strategy for MEA
  • May build on in some country's others are white space
  • Needs to collaborate a lot internally to understand Brand and Operating models in each market
  • Needs to be comfortable exploring opportunities and countries, Knows the region
  • Must have a friendly passport - Needs to get a lot of visit visa's (Dual holders is ok)
  • English language - Needs to be sharp both written and verbal, Arabic - Fluent desired, French / Portuguese desired
  • Needs to be smart ad top notch with regards to building and articulating business proposals.
  • Visited a lot to show breadth - Eg: W and E Africa markets!
  • Could need to build businesses in countries - Adding legal entities
  • Networking at high levels to get indirect influencing capability
  • Required Experience: 5+ years in Commercial / 3 years in similar level -
  • Candidate industry to consider - from the B2B industries such as food industries, FMCG, Packaging industries.
  • Required Educational background - bachelor's degree in a relevant field. We also desire MBA holders.
  • Develop winning market entry / customer strategies within untapped markets / prospects in the region. This includes, market potential evaluation, category research, entry strategies and go-tomarket strategies.
  • Grow existing busines portfolios and enter new categories
  • Identify opportunities within white space to increase companies footprint.
  • Identify potential partnerships, opportunities to enhance distribution and open up new markets, and methods to enhance efficiency within the organization's sales and marketing departments.
  • Design presentations to the Executive Management Team to highlight business and marketing opportunities / improvement strategies / present the results of new strategies.
  • Take a hands-on approach to the company's marketing efforts by making smart recommendation that will support with expanding market reach.
  • Collaborate with internal stakholders within sales and marketing teams to introduce new campaigns and make decisions that drive sales growth.
  • Analysis of markets and customer product portfolios.
  • Detect market trends and new products in MEA markets. Use this information as basis for customer consultancy and general strategic considerations. Build up customer marketing relationships.
  • Improve operations planning and overall efficiency. Assess marketing and sales operations, along with supplier and vendor activities, in order to make recommendations for improvements and enhancements that support long-term operations decisions regarding product development and distribution strategies
