About the Client:
An international logistics & freight forwarding company that provides complex logistics solutions to customers in various industries around the world.
Job Role:
Promote the company and its services by coordinating with Sales, Management, Finance, IT and Media Relations teams
Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives
Evaluate metrics and instruct Sales Managers to achieve the targets
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports and submit findings and analysis to senior management
Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency
Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems
Comply with industry laws, regulations and ISO requirements and develop policies or procedures for logistics activities based on the same
Train shipping department personnel in roles or responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies
Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility
Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth and participate in decisions for business growth and development
Suggest new and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction, meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
Serve as the point Identify hiring needs, select and train new salespeople
Direct, optimize and coordinate full work cycle and reinforce the business efficiency by being the point of contact to report and communicate all achievements, inefficiencies or requirement between operations, sales, accounting and warehouse department in region and with the management in the head office
33 years old and above
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or any relevant field
With at least 6 years of experience in the same role from logistics & freight forwarding industry
Retail background is an advantage
In-depth understanding of logistics and operations process
Ability to cope with pressure and work to tight deadlines
Must be excellent in attention detail and commercial awareness
Ability to read and generate reports, ledgers and market analyses
Outstanding written, verbal communication, negotiation, and motivational skills
