ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The primary purpose of the Sales Lead, Net New Customer, ME-North position is to consistently attain targeted revenue goals in a dedicated territory of Net New Customer segment and set the vision & strategy for the sales team. In order to accomplish these goals, the Sales Lead must develop specific territory plans to ensure growth in all revenue streams, formulate objectives, performance standards & priorities to ensure that selling models facilitate market penetration. Sales Director should leverage all the power of SAP and orchestrate strategies that brings together various value adding functions such as presales, customer advisory, industry value, LoB specialization and so on.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
Sets strategy for the sales team develops specific territory plans to ensure growth in all revenue streams.
Formulates objectives, performance standards and priorities for the business. Leader, role model, and coach on sales approaches and account leadership.
Builds a network of executive relationships with key customers and partners that can be leveraged.
Maintains accurate, timely and documented pipelines and forecasts of opportunities and provide appropriate updates to SAP executive management.
Continuously networks through different channels and ensures collaboration with SAP regional and other SAP Ecosystem Stakeholders to ensure penetration into Net New Customer Territory, with value based strategies.
A profile who is perceived to be a trusted advisor, capable to articulate the value proposition across various LoBs and Industries.
You are expected to know about the members of your extended team and share insights with your peer managers. Look for opportunities to coach and recognize employees directly and provide just-in-time feedback so that employees can reflect on your input immediately.

Act as a role model by coaching and recognizing your direct reports and providing just-in-time feedback and expecting the same of your direct reports.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Extensive sales experience with business applications and/or IT solutions.
Experience selling to C-Suite
Collaborative style and ability to work in a networked organization with virtual teams
Proven track record of capturing and growing customer and market share in a profitable manner
12+ years experience in Software/Applications sales and in sales management (Direct Sales), with total of 15+ years professional experience in Enterprise Applications industry.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Bachelors degree a must, ideally and Business Administration, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering or Computer Engineering.
MBA preferred
