Job Description

  • The Sales Manager for Water Treatment Solutions is primarily responsible for Microfiltration and Reverse Osmosis sales to municipal and industrial customers, including drinking water and waste treatment facilities, power generation, refining and general industrial incoming and wastewater.
  • This individual is responsible for supporting and growing an existing customer base while developing new business within region for Water solutions. The sales activity will include:
  • Time and Territory management
  • Prospecting and cultivating customer relationships
  • Sales funnel and opportunity progression
  • Forecasting and managing short and long-term projects
  • Identifying/developing channel partners including company's Water Quality partners
  • Working with Water application engineering (A&E's) to propose filtrations solutions
  • Ability to manage all levels of the sales cycle and customer stakeholders
  • Five years of experience in sales role or Sales manager role, including service/aftermarket experience.
  • Experience in water applications, water accounts, EPC's and with filtration technologies
  • Bachelor's degree preferred eg in Process Engineering, Water/Wastewater, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, etc.
  • Experience of working with utilities managers, integrators and OEM's, planning offices, designers and consultants beside municipalities.
  • Ability to work with Customers cross-functional teams and utilize appropriately to get leads accelerated through the buying process.
  • Capable of engaging from hands-on/demo level to formal presentation level with customer operators, managers and purchasers.
