Job Description

Key Responsibilities/Duties :
• Work with Marketing Department and expand current prospect database within specified business sectors to generate effective leads & exceed sales targets for the business
• Develop a sales contact plan direct marketing, and attending industry events to build relationships with key prospects
• Work closely with other departments to resolve issues and to follow up new requirements with current clients.
• Respond to incoming Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in a professional and creative manner
• Understand a prospect’s business needs and work with the expert teams to develop a tailored digital marketing proposal
• Work closely with colleagues to identify common new business prospects and cross-sell integrated search and affiliate proposition
• Represent Company at industry events, including round tables, speaking forums and new business events
• Work closely with marketing Department to identify appropriate go to market messaging for specific business sectors Knowledge Sharing, learning & development
• Enhance own development by taking responsibility for staying informed and up to date with industry knowledge
• Work closely with the Sales team to develop new business proposals
• Work closely with the client service, operations, editorial and implementation teams to demonstrate Company expertise at new business pitches
• Contribute to the learning environment by identifying areas where there is potential for learning and building knowledge with others
• Adopt the performance management scheme by setting objectives, participating in performance reviews and building a personal development plan
• Seek business opportunities for firm; could be market specific depending on firm
• May make commitments for firm with direction from superiors
• Spend majority of time outside the firm making contacts
• Track BD opportunities via CRM
• Research and gather information on potential clients and projects
• Schedule meetings with new/existing clients to discover project information
• Develop and maintain strong business network
• Participate in client organizations
• Work with technical staff to develop proposals and scopes of work and estimate fees
• Actively involved in professional and community organizations.

Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree with 4 to 7 years of experience recommended
• Without a degree 6 to 10 years of relevant A/E/C experience required
• Comprehensive knowledge of firm’s practice Clientele, goals, policies and procedures
• Basic understanding of HR industry terminology and delivery methods
• Excellent organizational skills
• Persistent
• Follow through in a consistent manner
