Position Summary
The Sales and Operations Support Co-ordinator for the Specialty Diagnostics Group in the Middle East and North Africa is responsible for supporting our commercial teams across SDG to execute on strategies and tactical plans in the MENA region.

  • Sales reporting
  • Sales support – telesales, virtual trainings, workshops
  • Distributor / customer support
  • Tender support
  • Finance / logistic support
  • Marketing / product support
  • Planning support
  • Back-up sales coordinator (upon request) - Emerging Markets

Key responsibilities
  • Sales reporting
    • Monthly SDG sales report by Division
    • Quarterly BM licence sales report
    • Other sales reports on request
    • Monthly SDG analyser forecasts

Sales support
  • Prepare and send tender/price offers
  • Telesales focus
  • Vigorous order follow-up with Finland and Germany
  • Organise virtual trainings and workshops with the MENA sales team
  • Other general administrative work on request
  • Liaise with Logistics as necessary
  • Forecast consolidation
  • Data interpretation, analysis, and recommendations

Distributor / customer support
  • Immediate response to daily distributor / customer inquiries
  • Compile requests for product documentation – e.g. IFU, MSDS, etc
  • Compile requests for travel documentation – e.g. Invitation letter for Visa support
  • Securimate and Compliance management
  • SFDC co-ordination with MENA team
  • Channel Portal management
  • Prepare distributor contracts for internal sign off

Tender support
  • Documentation preparation for tenders, including:
  • Letters of confirmation
  • Letters of Credit/Bank Contracts
  • Organization of document translations
  • ISO documentation / CE registration / Free Sales Certificates etc.
  • Notarization of documents

Finance / logistic support
  • Pricing information
  • Monitoring of credit limits
  • Manage account receivables
  • Completion of analyser requisition forms
  • Order follow up with Finland and Germany
  • Compiling price lists and annual price changes

Marketing support
  • Internet research competition databank
  • Sending out print material (MarCom / literature)
  • Organising Congresses, Exhibitions and Virtual Workshops to support commercial strategies
  • Kick Off and Distributor meeting organisation and support
  • Disseminate reagent availability and shelf life information
  • Consolidate marketing & sales activity planning tool (Route Planner)
  • Budget consolidation/reporting
  • Virtual/Digital activity co-ordination
  • Telesales on request

Planning support
  • Monthly forecast consolidation across product lines
  • Creating and consolidating AOP templates across product lines
  • Data support through CRM and Securimate
  • MBR and QBR consolidation and reporting

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in administration, sales operations, project management experience ideally within an IVD or life science environment
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS office packages
  • Experience with maintaining and reporting out of CRM systems, such as salesforce.com
  • Organized, structured and tenacious
  • Capable of working to tight deadlines
  • Analytical and able to take the initiative and drive projects forward
  • High level of communication skills and ability to work in a matrix organization to get cooperation of others at all levels.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently
  • High level of English language, written and oral; Arabic an advantage
  • Telesales experience an advantage
