We're looking for a highly motivated, innovative and performance-oriented Senior Brand Manager to help us bring the future of Movies and TV to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Amazon Prime Video is an on-demand video entertainment service that offers customers the greatest choice in what to watch, including Original and Exclusive shows such as The Wheel of Time, The Boys and the upcoming The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. In this role you will develop, propose and execute local marketing strategies and campaigns promoting our most strategic Amazon Originals and the Prime Video brand in MENA. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for Movies & TV, deep knowledge of the MENA region, a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment and experience planning, producing and executing large marketing campaigns across big cross-functional teams. Adept at persuading and influencing global partners, both internal and external, you will gain buy-in and approval from global Prime Video leadership on marketing plans and own project execution. A self-starter who is able to prioritize and deliver to deadlines, this candidate is analytically-minded and has a passion for big, strategic thinking while also enjoying ownership of ongoing program delivery.

Success in this role requires the ability to recommend holistic customer-centric strategies based on local marketplace expertise, excellent project management skills, a keen eye for world-class marketing creative and an analytical approach to continuous improvement.

Key job responsibilities
1. Original & exclusive content campaign marketing for MENA.
a. Proposing and executing on campaign strategy and planning.
b. Content and creative research for local marketplace.
c. Helping to manage media agencies to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
d. Acting as POC for launch of global Originals in local marketplace.
e. Contribute to business and insights documents, drive and deliver strategic and tactical plans in close partnership with finance teams and provide regular updates to internal and external audiences including Prime Video leadership.

2. Brand strategy, research and campaign proposals for MENA.
a. Regional POC for recommending brand positioning, segmentation and strategy to Prime Video leadership.
b. Evaluate, propose and execute brand building opportunities alongside content marketing strategy, including social media and PR/events.
c. Manage and support internal and external brand partnerships.
d. Work closely with global Brand, PR and Social Media teams to leverage insights and learnings.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in creative marketing strategy development, ideally in the entertainment industry.
  • Experience working with large cross-functional teams and external partners, including creative and media agencies.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute high-performing marketing campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Track record of combining data analysis and high judgement to deliver results.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Confident communicator (verbal and written).
  • Track record of succeeding in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience working in TV & Film, entertainment and new platforms.
  • Experience working in the MENA region in a nascent business.
