About Our Client
The client is a government entity which aims to develop an economic zone incorporating smart city technology to function as a tourist destination. You will be working on one of the giga projects which is designed to respond to some of the most pressing global challanges facing urban areas and inspire an alternative way of living.
Job Description
  • Working closely with external (agencies) and internal partners (Sectors, procurement, Consumer Insights & dev marketing, Communications and others)
  • Managing the development of consumer facing creatively.
  • Managing the brand communications and ensure activities are updated regularly and shared across the business to ensure awareness and understanding amongst stakeholders.
  • Assisting with the development of an 12-18 month rolling marketing calendar and align all internal stakeholders.
  • Working closely with the Head of Consumer Insights in the development of campaigns and media plans to deliver to consumer sentiment and the business KPI's.
  • Ensuring on-going management of the creative agencies and undertake quarterly reviews.
  • Implementing robust project management of campaigns to ensure milestones are met and all parties are coordinated and managed to contribute according to their responsibilities.
  • Managing the current team members and ensure development plans and objectives are in place.
  • Managing a team and build high quality working relationships to support on going development.
  • Managing the campaign budget including costs allocated to agencies and ensure spend levels are maintained within corporate guidelines.

The Successful Applicant
  • 10+ years experience in marketing within a top tier company ideally within the FMCG, Retail/Property or hospitality industry.
  • Degree, Marketing / Digital Marketing MSc desirable
  • 8+ years leading a marketing team
  • Relevant industry qualifications
  • Agency experience would be advantageous.
  • A proven track record in creative development and execution, strategic marketing, brand or consumer marketing. Experience in brand building and creative campaign development and execution is mandatory.
  • A proven track record in agency management and internal stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience of working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is preferable
  • Line management of a team is mandatory and experience within an International corporate environment is desirable
