Job Description

Job Purpose:
Implement and oversee well engineering technologies, well construction & workover and abandonment activities. Coordinate the planning, engineering, CWI material management, programming, execution and evaluation of Well Completion design, Well Completion operations, Well Testing operations, Production station metering checks visa well test units, Slick-line, Stimulation, Coil Tubing Operations, Post drilling Well Integrity management and Well Head maintenance of all wells in line with ADNOC Sour Gas technical, operational and HSE standards.
Key Accountabilities:
• Focal point for well integrity documentation, standards, procedures, status and reports.
• Ensure well integrity compliance with ADNOC COPs (well integrity and well servicing).
• Focal point for well integrity management system (WIMS).
• Supervising completion and activities on the rig including planning and executing activities related to completions onshore gas project. Evaluate well designs and advise on the development of cost-effective wells.
• Provide updates (as necessary) to the well delivery teams on failure analysis plans, progress, results, conclusions & recommendations.
• Identifying and mitigate risks in Drilling, Completion and well intervention operations.
• Maximizing the team’s performance by building an enabling environment where everyone has the freedom to contribute, challenge and participate.
• Reviewing troubled or underperforming wells and recommending remedial solutions to restore well productivity.
• Working closely with Drilling subsurface teams and vendors in planning and executing work.
• Overseeing completion operations and well interventions logistics (equipment, manpower, materials)
• Also to incorporate well design, completions, drilling performance, new technology, multidiscipline studies and project management.
• Manage well Delivery, Service and Maintenance (DMS) using a full well life cycle approach. Provide all ultimately, through abandonment. Ensure full well integrity and compliance throughout the life cycle.
• Designs and prepares wellhead casing and cementing programs to meet expected conditions and ensure well integrity.
• Monitor well operating parameters to ensure wells are within the safe operating envelope. Update the operating envelops as well and reservoir conditions change.
• Complete planning, engineering , contract support, procurement support for tangible inventory, and execution of downhole pressure measurements with company owned, memory type, long duration electronic gauges. Ensure tool and accessory maintenance is completed as necessary.
• Complete planning, engineering and contract support for well servicing operations for workover, slickline, wireline, coiled tubing, stimulation and fishing.
• Conducts technical reviews and verification of well completion design, prepares a well abandonment program, prepare cost estimates and AFEs for the drilling phase.
• Ensure the timely availability of shared contracted services and resources by participating in team setting priorities and to manage the assigned service resources, maintaining regular consultation with service Contractors, other team priority setting participants, and relevant Production Operations departments.
Generic Accountabilites
• Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned are to meet functional objectives.
• Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.
• Provide input for preparation of the Section / Development budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
• Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

• Implement approved Section / Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support executions of the Section’s / Department work programs in line with Company and International standards.
• Provide documentation, reporting and compliance to well integrity COP, Standards, WIMS, and procedures.
Performance Management
• Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Section / Department in line with the Company Performance framework.
• Focal point for well integrity KPI in coordination with ADNOC HQ.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
• Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
• Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
• Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress report for Company Management.
Communications & Working Relationships:
• SVP, VP, Managers, Supervisor, Contractors, Subsurface, Peers, Projects or as required.
• Contracts or as instructed.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
Minimum Qualification
• Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
• 7 years experience drilling operations, including 4 years in a similar role.
• Extensive background in technical leadership role in well related activities with upstream, well services, or well engineering company.
• Experience with rigless well intervention design and operations including sickline, wireline, stimulation, and coiled tubing horizontal wells.
