We are currently looking for a highly analytical and forward-thinking Financial Analyst to join our Consumer Prime and marketing Finance team in MENA. The role requires to partner closely with business and finance teams in UAE KSA & Egypt to drive customer/prime growth and marketing investments. Primary responsibilities will include building top of funnel growth plans based on customer acquisition and retention strategy, prime growth initiatives, marketing budgets planning and controllership on overall budgets. You will lead variance analysis for monthly/quarterly business reviews as well as partner with business teams to support key business decisions, execute ad-hoc projects, and provide insights as needed.

Key job responsibilities
  • Lead the Forecasting cycles: OP1/2, Gui, 3YF Drive forecasting accuracy by understanding drivers of the business Use of building blocks to explain drivers.
  • Lead discussions with XCM and AM marketing on fixed and variable marketing investments and drive efficiency improvement targets
  • Participate in the month-end close process Write clear, concise narratives to explain the P&L performance to leaders. Drive the MBR, QBR process.
  • Be proactive to identify issues impacting the business, participate in Dive Deep, as needed
  • Align Path to Profitability (PtP) goals, drive execution on specific PtP levers.


8+ yrs of exp
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering and/or similar discipline with analytical bias
Relevant experience in positions that require analysis and reporting financial results
Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)
Demonstrated financial acumen and/or analytical experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
Experience performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools


. MBA and/or Professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting certificate) + relevant experience
. Experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis
. Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions and demonstrated experience managing such mechanisms to an end result
. Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment effective multi-tasking skills are vital
. Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and mid-senior levels of management
. Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, Tableau, and/or Cognos) or other financial systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards), providing solutions based on results of ad hoc analyses to senior management for strategic decision-making
