Reports to Position Product Manager – Telco and OTT Department Telco and OTT
Direct Reports Team total
Financial Dimensions Will vary from one project/initiative to another Location UAE, Dubai.
Job Purpose
We are looking for a candidate with strong OTT and Telecom product domain experience, one who can take fill ownership of product enhancement, innovations, direct carrier billing & bundle integrations with telecom operators across MENA. This person will be responsible for defining and delivering best-in-class customer on-boarding journey, process, business and technical flows, integrations and service launch while ensuring better customer experience and co-ordination with external and internal stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
• Product enhancement and Innovations
o Analyze market and industry trends to provide competitive analysis and develop the product roadmap that helps in overall customer experience and revenue enhancement
o Mapping the ideas as a part of new releases, detailing new features, functionality and interfaces
o Eager to learn new technologies, identify and deliver enhancements to customer journeys, flows and work with internal & external teams to implement improvements.
• Requirement Gathering and Analysis
o Introduce existing solutions and integration approaches to the customer, gather customer’s expectation
o Map customer expectation to the existing functionalities & integration approaches available in product
o Prepare customization inputs required to meet customer expectation
o Collaborate with internal/external development team for discussing the feasibility of implementing customer specific customization in the functionalities and integration approaches
o Work with external and internal stakeholders to prepare detailed Business Requirement Document (BRD) with clear requirements for design includes onboarding, user journey, user stories, features, functionalities, technical call flows (APIs and protocols), integration approaches, impact analysis, reporting requirement
o Facilitate review of the BRD by various stakeholders, closure with customer sign off
o Have internal kick off for implementation with all stakeholders in order to clarify and define the project scope
• Knowledge Transfer
o Clarify and elaborate the scope of work to development & testing team (Internal/external)
• Product Validation, Implementation and UAT Sign off
o Manage relationships with solution providers (vendors) and ensure they deliver as per plan and requirement and scope
o Work closely with test team to define the test plan, test scripts, technical integration test cases and user acceptance tests
o Review UAT cases provided by internal/external team for delivery
o Perform sanity testing of release by running test cases from the UAT cases
o Validate that there is no gap in terms of BRD and final delivery
o Assist customer in performing UAT and get the Sign off on the delivery
• Product Training
o Create training material and provide training to various internal and external stakeholders
• Product Performance and KPIs
o Have regular meetings with stakeholders and provides update on the ongoing activities and service performance
o Support internal stakeholders for product performance & KPIs with proper data analysis and reporting
o Manage day to day activities working with wider operations and technology teams to ensure product issues are easily identified and providing product solutions.

Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies
Experience required:
• Over 8 years’ experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner
• Minimum 3 years of experience translating customer needs into user stories, features, functionality, technical call flows, system integrations
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, operations & delivering customer-facing OTT and Telco products
• Good working knowledge of Direct Carrier Billing & Bundle integrations with telecom operators
• Candidate with experience in OTT or telco services will be given a preference
Education requirement:
• Bachelor’s Degree / MBA
Knowledge & Skills:
o Has diverse exposure to cutting age mobile & web technologies, Direct Carrier Billing, telecom systems such as SMSC, Billing System, provisioning system
o In-depth knowledge of telecom interfaces and protocol
o Extensive knowledge about SDLC, practices, and requirement management
o Excellent documentation and presentation skills
o Knowledge & experience of UML for sequence diagrams and use case creations
o Have an attitude of taking ownership and accountability for a given task and the ability to multitask
