Amazon's growth continues unabated. To support this growth the EU/MENA Workforce staffing (WFS) team which is responsible for hiring our hourly workforce is focused on scaling the hiring process for one of the planet's largest workforces. Whilst we have teams in our organization that work on large scale hiring, the WFS product team are seeking domain experts in project management, process excellence and process automation to drive a product roadmap that will redesign and automate as far as possible our hiring processes and tools. The team will drive improvement and constant iteration based on their ability to understand the unique context of Amazon and be driven by the desire to deliver a flawless and frustration free hiring experience to our candidates.
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Program Manager to join our WFS Products Team to drive the roll out of new hiring processes across the MENA region, lead process reviews and make recommendations that will enable us to constantly improve the candidate experience.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of program management and deep subject matter expertise in managing complex projects that involve multiple countries, multiple teams & stakeholders. The role requires an individual that is passionate about innovation and simplification, thrives on problem solving and is able to advocate for our products on behalf of our customers.
Responsibilities include:
. Deliver Solutions - Design and implement new or modified core hiring processes to meet business needs partner with technical development teams on gap analysis and system design and prioritization of critical components of the deployments.
. Operational Excellence - Drive process optimization to fully exploit the technology platform while balancing the business need for flexibility and appropriate localization.
. Subject Matter Expertise - develop deep knowledge of the hiring processes used by Amazon, advise on the process requirements when using the technical solutions and implement best practices for optimizing the use of the hiring products.
. Project Management - Build and maintain process implementation plans from discovery to deployment and post launch evaluation. Identify resource needs, and manage project schedule collaborate effectively across teams to define strategy, goals and commitment to timelines and deliverables.
. Project Governance - Drive program governance rigor, ensuring mechanisms in place to track and report out on project status, manage risks and put in place mitigation plans to ensure on time delivery of high quality solutions.
. Communication - Own communications to project members and stakeholders on progress, issues, and risks including regular status updates and various white paper analysis partner with operations teams to develop and roll out change management plans.
. Project Evaluation - Develop measures to define progress and ultimate success establish ongoing reporting requirements and key performance indicators for planning and ultimately realizing intended ROIs.
. Process Evaluation - Lead process enhancement reviews, providing leadership on project scope definition and prioritization which align to business need and goals. Partner with technology teams to develop robust mechanisms to clearly articulate problem statements which are supported by metrics, to enable us to continually drive product improvements.
. Bring industry knowledge, latest innovations and emerging trends on hiring best practices.
. Bachelor's degree in business, HR or related field.
. Professional experience in Project Management/Operational Excellence areas.
. Proven expertise in leading complex programs across multiple geographies, working with internal technical teams as well as vendors.
. Experience in organizational, analytical, and facilitation skills for multi-country projects
. Fluent in English.
. Experience working with high volume hiring processes and tools.
. Experience working with applicant tracking systems, workflow tools and/or customer relationship management tools.
. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified.
