Job Summary

  • Experience in preparation of different project reports, design criteria, design guidelines, design process and procedures.

  • Experience of coordination with client representatives, consultants, contractors and external stakeholders.

  • Experience of flood modelling and watershed delineation based on latest hydrologic models like TUFLOW, Aquaveo WMS/SMS, XPSWMM etc.

  • Knowledge of industry / regulatory codes and standards, and design and / or layout criteria pertinent to the discipline.

  • Knowledge of utility design engineering software like Water CAD, Storm CAD, Sewer CAD, KYPIPE and similar desirable.


  • Responsible for developing engineering processes, procedures and guidelines, if required, to assist client in the management and delivery of essential utilities works.

  • Responsible to support client in implementation of GDMP Engineering Processes and Procedures.

  • Responsible to support client in implementation of Design Criteria, Standard Specifications and Standard Construction for using on different projects across the KSA.

  • Responsible for providing solutions to problems encountered at the projects using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed.

  • Provide support for the needs of other discipline leads for input to their efforts.

  • Provides utility related support to client on design and construction issues

  • Mentoring of graduate and junior engineers for professional development

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 17 years’ experience in major infrastructure projects, including experience of managing design of all wet utilities of infrastructure project with all related facilities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in engineering from an western accredited university.
