Job Description

• Greeting our guests with a warm and friendly greeting and able to introduce confidently the brand and engage with the customer throughout the ordering process.
• To be well groomed and maintain a high standard of personal hygiene with clean and smart uniform being worn at all times.
• Answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request relevant to the customer needs.
• Explain how the menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and baking methods.
• Introduce and suggestive sell limited time offers and new products to our guests.
• Operate the point of sale system and accurately input each order and receive payments for orders ensuring correct change is given to the customer on cash payments.
• Assemble customer orders promptly and neatly ensuring to follow the brand standards outlined in the SOP’s
• Follow the sequence of service and treat all customers equally with excellent levels of service which are outlined in the mystery shopper guidelines (GWR)
• Clean tables and/or counters along with other customer areas such as toilets, counter areas and outside dining area.
• Maintain sufficient stock levels of all condiments in condiment station and take away counter.
• Answer the telephone calls and take delivery orders as per the brand standards.
• Take orders in the carhop/delivery section when required ensuring the correct service standards are being followed.
• Follow the tasks set out by the supervisor and store manager.
• To be a team player and actively support fellow colleagues with job related tasks.
• Ensures a high level of cleanliness and organization of the front of house area at all times.
• Well groomed and maintain a high standard of personal hygiene with clean and smart uniform being worn at all times.
• Follow all recipes and procedures to ensure excellent quality of product is being served to customers outlined in the brand SOP and product guides.
• Maintain sufficient stocks levels of cookies and ensure all surface areas and tools are kept clean and sanitized.
• Maintain high-level of food quality and taste as per standards of the brand.
• Ensure that FIFO, correct production levels and sufficient cookie availability at all times.
• Complete the tasks outlined in the cleaning schedules.
• Communicate any stock related issues to the supervisor immediately. Shortage, overage, quality, expiry, etc.
• To be flexible with duty hours and willing to support during busy periods as required.
• To comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that all statutory regulations are observed and that the department comply with these requirements.
• Collaborates with the assigned duty supervisor to review the requirements of the day to avoid over production and unnecessary food wastage.
• Practices at all times HACCP and on-board sanitation and hygiene standards, in compliance with Al Ghalia excellence procedures.
Fully understands how to operate, clean and maintain all kitchen equipment according to Company's standard operating procedures.
• A full understanding and adherence to all food safety practices and reports any concerns immediately to the supervisor or Store Manager.
• Prepares and serves only the best quality product and does not compromise the brand by serving substandard products.
