You will be working as a Service Engineer, will be the part of E-Mobility Business Area based in Doha, Qatar. In this role you will be responsible for executing low to medium complexity tasks based on the ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Delivering quality services to the customers and identifying new service business opportunities for ABB.This position reports to

Service Manager / Senior Service EngineerYour responsibilities

  • Assist local teams and service partners on the installation and commissioning of chargers.
  • Perform service tasks such as installation, testing and commissioning (field / remote) of equipment and routine maintenance activities and identifying technical problems and analyzing the solutions based on the same. Contribute to customer satisfaction by delivering the tasks based on the customer expectation and identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Maintain good relationship with customers, prepare and ensure all materials, parts and equipment are available as per the requirement. Offer advice on complex electrical or mechanical problems based on data obtained from cloud connected service systems.
  • Ensure the troubleshooting activities are carried out effectively and provide solutions to avoid the occurrence of the equipment failure in the future.
  • Assist the management by provide improvement action on operational aspect and customer service. Ensure the safety rules and guidelines are practiced and followed in the team and report if there are any deviations from it.

Your background

  • Bachelors or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the same field.
  • Candidates must have experience in communication protocols.
  • Experience in Power Electronics, salesforce, Linux and scripting knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
