Koch Engineered Solutions is searching for a Site Construction Manager for our office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia to drive construction business growth for the Middle East.
Koch Engineered Solutions creates unique value in the installation of Koch Glitsch (KG) and John Zink Hamworthy Combustion (JZHC) equipment, with our specialized expertise with the products and our One-Team approach with the OEM project teams. The construction market served by the growing business is aligned with the Koch Engineered Solutions family of mass transfer, process and emissions control products installed, upgraded, and maintained in refinery, Petro-Chemical and heavy industrial facilities in the region.
What will you do in your role
  • Oversee construction sites, general contractors, and workers to ensure a high level of quality and safety.
  • Create and review Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal and Change Orders.
  • Guarantee that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures.
  • Ensure that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices.
  • Provide technical support to Project Managers.
  • Develop and maintain project cost/change controls, and project budget and accounting records.
  • Perform change order estimation and assist the Project Manager in change order negotiations.
  • Coordinate and monitor schedule updates, invoices, and submittals.
  • Assist in managing and reviewing the progress of contractors construction schedules.
  • Review weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and potential changes.
  • Report the status of projects to business and market leaders.
  • Attend client program meetings as needed.

What experience you will bringRequirements
  • Technical Diploma or BSc in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in projects construction experience working on sites in the Oil & Gas sector (in Mass Transfer and/or Flares and/or Thermal Oxidizers and/or Vapor Recovery Unit)
  • Knowledge of Construction Technology
  • EPC industry experience
  • Knowledge of project controls
  • Knowledge in Risk assessment/management
  • Excellent in managing administrative policies and procedures
  • Conceptual planning ability
  • Conflict management and problem-solving skills
  • Multi-tasking ability
  • Communication, meeting, and presentation skills
  • Comfort with time reporting systems
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools, exposure to schedule software, preferably MS Project
  • Fluent in English. Fluent in Arabic and additional languages is a plus
  • Availability to travel: up to 75%
