In this role, you will be responsible for leading and monitoring project controls activities, and evaluate project to ensure all costs are within budget. You will also be responsible for preparing periodic financial statements to support in decision making.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and maintain cost control system and procedures to track budget, expenditures and forecasts of products
  • Prepare cost estimation reports to support department heads in decision making and recommend alternatives to improve costs
  • Evaluate and analyze market cost information in the market and provide recommendations
  • Support department heads in validating costs inputted in the system to avoid variances
  • Develop cost reporting template to track costs on regular basis
  • Support team in reconciling data to support complete accuracy or reports
  • Support in department audits to eliminate variances in reporting

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Finance or Accounting
  • 3+ years experience in restaurant/hospitality accounting
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills
  • Proficient in Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Teams..)
  • High proficiency in Excel formulas and functions

  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Detail oriented and results driven
  • Proactive with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in both Arabic and English (oral and written)
