Amazon's Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Seller Services is looking for a Senior Program Manager to define and build scalable programs in partnership with global teams to shape and improve Registration experience for domestic and global Sellers. The role would use data-driven insights and voices of sellers to identify Seller needs and blockers, and conceptualize program, workflow and product opportunities with multiple cross-functional partners (central product teams, design, ops, finance, legal, tax etc.). The role will require thinking long term, driving automation of these programs into products that can scale to millions of Sellers.
To be successful in this role, the individual will need to be persuasive, organized, and possess strong and proven communication skills. He/she/they will be extremely customer obsessed, strong at perform deep dives to derive analytical insights on seller behaviors. It is very important for the individual to be able to engage and work well across all functional areas while influencing without authority.
Key job responsibilities
. Work backwards from needs of sellers and come up with initiatives to address experience gaps in Registration. Own Seller deep-dives, Voice of Seller analysis, Seller surveys to identify Seller pain points and devise solutions.
. Partner with key stakeholders to define the strategy, vision, and roadmap for program and products. The PM will own relationships and building scalable mechanisms with central teams, going to them as one voice and driving prioritization for all destination stores.
. Work closely with local/global teams to create, refine and invent processes leading to customer/seller experience improvement and seller success.
. Own end-to-end reporting, target-setting and performance tracking
. Coordinate with global teams to communicate and train local teams on upcoming product/program launches to drive adoption and feedback.
. Develop mid-term solutions/experiments to build business case for long term product investments.
. Derive recommendations and findings from business teams and report out to both internal and external stakeholders, contributing to executive level business review and planning. Clearly define and communicate engagement requirements, gain support from internal stakeholders and external partners.
. Establish strong relationships and trust with global stakeholder teams by creating effective communications channels and review/decision mechanism, and providing insightful data/analysis to drive global seller success on all Amazon marketplaces.
. Drive local programs/product features to improve seller experience and success.
. 5+ years of experience in program or project management, Consulting or Business management.
. Advanced degree in business or engineering.
. Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
. Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
. Outstanding verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
. Ability to deal with ambiguity, to dives deep independently on broad scope issues
. Ability to think strategically and creatively while executing methodically with high attention to details, operational excellence and ability of multi-tasking.
. Superior analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to acquire/interpret data and make business recommendations.
. Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional environment, to lead by influence and earn trust at all levels.
. History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
. MBA preferred
. Technical and product development experience a plus
