Job Description Summary
Customer facing staff responsible for winning business Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the High Voltage and Extra High Voltage Grid Services sector for both utility and non-utility organizations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Guided by commercial practices and policies that may be shaped by the role. Has significant control/influence over commercial priorities, ITO KPIs and drive customer intimacy and commercial excellence. There is moderate autonomy within the role to enter into/execute Commercial arrangements. High levels of Commercial judgement are required to achieve outcomes required as well as strong team spirit to ensure smooth collaboration with existing team and collaborate with supporting functions.Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Formulates and executes proposal strategy and sales agreements. Formulates deal structure, pricing, proposal development. Lead customer negotiations and arrange internally and externally to achieve win-win strategy.
  • Identifies new opportunities with functional partners to develop new products and services for business growth. Utilizes Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve proposal process and provide feedback to tendering and engineering functions to better serve our customers.
  • Build customer intimacy to promptly respond to their inquiry and ensure first class service is provided to our customers.
  • This is a hybrid role only to be used when both sales origination and commercial proposal activities are ongoing duties of roughly equal importance. If not, use another distinct area of work.
  • Developing specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments in own area and communication skills to influence others. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Business preferable electrical engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of previous related experience in the energy and/or utility sector in KSA.
  • Strong acumen of business environment in KSA MBA is preferable
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel

Desired Characteristics
  • Strong communication skills and ability to travel across the kingdom and out of kingdom if required.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
