Organizes own and others work to achieve set deadlines
Independently checks the completeness & accuracy of own work prior to review by the Senior Engineer or designated senior team member
Prepares Structural Design / Analysis models and calculations and co-ordinates with the BIM model production and other coordination software Adopts creative and innovative solutions to assigned tasks and develops appropriate research and documentation to support these solutions Follows specific, standardized procedures to achieve set results and deadlines (as set out by Senior Architect or Senior Team member) Proactively prepares, checks and coordinates project Structural Design models and drawings and ensure they meet Client requirements and Industry Standards and project BIM Execution Plans Ensures accuracy and quality of discipline Structural models information, presentation, and coordination Takes accountability for own work and subordinates work Collaborates/communicates with other disciplines regarding coordination issues and common design & BIM model development tasks Regularly reviews and checks their own deliverables for accuracy, efficiency and thoroughness ensuring delivery is as per Client requirements and Industry standards Works with the team to communicate, solve, and update design and BIM models for coordination and design issues. Communicates with clarity, purpose and accuracy Provides guidance to junior staff Prepares designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, working drawings, develops details, develops specifications Participates in pro-active coordination with internal and external design disciplines to achieve a high-quality consistent set of presentation or design documents as per Client requirements and Industry standards Responsible, with guidance from senior team members for the preparation and compilation of design presentations and reports Participates in team meetings by bringing ideas and solutions to the table Develops knowledge of AECOM's QMS procedures Plans for and applies Safety in Design principles throughout all design stages of a project Proactively liaises with Statutory Authorities and develop knowledge of local & international codes, regulations and submission requirements Attend client meetings where required Confidently present work to colleagues Contribute to providing technical support to site supervision teams and resolving design related issues on site Participate in developing responses to 3rd party review comments, tender queries, contractor's queries, etc.Minimum Requirements
