Partner with the bestThe goal is to positively impact results and the quality culture by establishing standards, institutionalizing daily management processes, and adopting consistent problem-solving methods with sustainable improvements. This position will partner closely with the executive team of the Surface Pressure Control P&L to help drive highly visible and strategic efforts to improve overall margins with a direct impact on the bottom line. This will require significant change management & stakeholder buy-in to be effective and deliver measurable results.
As a Surface Pressure Control Quality Director, you will be responsible for:
Establishing and driving in concert with the executive leadership of SPC a proactive quality culture as evidenced by improvement in business performance to deliver strategic goals.
Developing relationships and collaborate with key customers for the benefit of both parties.
Deploying Quality Management System including consistent KPIs and daily management across SPS, implementing tools and sharing best practices and training programs to enable a common structure for problem solving and action planning across the organization.
Establishing and building a reputable, continuous improvement program and drive continuous improvement across all areas of the business. Embed associated tools and processes.
Driving preventative actions and programs for defects reduction through all areas of the P&L.
Partnering with the SPC Senior Leaders to identify critical opportunities of high financial value, and create a repeatable, re-usable playbook that can take these opportunities from concept to execution.
Committing to peer leadership and partnership to achieve positive results in improved margins and reduced CoPQ.
Providing leadership and guidance to ensure that all Regulatory and Industry Standards are met across assigned operations. Maintain all quality certification and implement as required new/upcoming changes.
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
Have Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Have minimum of 10 additional years of experience in Quality, Services, Engineering and/or Supply Chain
Have customer centric behavior and experience collaborating with external customers senior leadership team
Be able to take conceptual direction and translate into concrete approaches to deliver direction and outcomes
Have proven ability to bring order and structure to function and organization quickly Strategic mindset with hands-on approach
Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with teams, customers and stakeholders
Have excellent oral, executive presentation and written communication skills, including ability to synthe complex topics into clear, simple and crisp messages
