Job Description :
Our client is now recruiting for a System Analyst - Arabic Speaker. You will be reporting directly to the Software Architect / IT Head
Job Purpose
The System Analyst (SYS) will be responsible for defining and analysing system requirements, implementing requirements, designing and testing standards and solutions to ensure high levels of performance and security
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
• Examine and evaluate current systems
• Identify system requirements develop software requirements study (SRS)
• Create the documentation for system requirement
• Coordinate and document workflow and deliverables of outsourced business solutions team
• Coordinate and document workflow and deliverables of in-house programmers and Support Services team
• Liaise with users to track additional requirements and features
• Document interfaces between new and legacy systems
• Collaborate with IT team and developers to produce new systems
• Train users on the new operation systems and provide support
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and technical development
• End to end experience of the project life cycle
• Manage project planning resources through use of GANTT charts
• Validate changes by testing programs
• Document progress of initiatives and projects and report to IT head
• Manage testing and deployment
• Create wire frames
• Manage communication and interaction within team members
Professional Experience
• Good knowledge of user modelling language (UML)
• Proven work experience as a system analyst
• Hands on experience with software development and documentation
• Solid knowledge of business information systems
• Working knowledge of business software applications
• Familiarity with programming languages like Visual Basic, C++ and Java
• Ability to explain technical details
• Excellent analytical skills
• A good problem-solving attitude
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field. May be substituted by equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred qualifications
• Postgraduate degree such as Masters in Computer Science/MIS or related field a definite plus
Functional Knowledge
• Software development cycle knowledge (design, Documentation, Testing, Maintenance, Development Process and Requirements, code, source control, quality assurance, test and deployment).
• Ability to grasp business and technical concepts and work out complex logic problems
• Strong Software development methodology and architecture experience.
• Full Life cycle methodology experience including requirements, design, development, testing and roll-out.
• Production and operational support experience.
• Strong SQL skills, expert troubleshooting for isolating technical and functional problem
