Description and Requirements

We are looking for EMEA THINKEDGE End User Sales Business Development Manager who will be reporting to the EMEA OEM Director.

Position Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a BDM role in the Smart Edge industry.
  • Proficient in being able to sell the value of Smart Edge solutions
  • Knowledge of collaboration tools available in the market, hardware, and software
  • Understanding of Competition, e.g. Kontron, Advantech, Dell, HP, Supermicro, etc
  • Knowledge of the EMEA Smart Edge market
  • Fluency in English


Your responsibilities will be:
  • Accelerate THINKEDGE end-user sales by working with EMEA segment & markets teams to:
  • Execute on THINKEDGE's strategic growth initiatives
  • Help identify acquisition accounts and provide input on key account plans, etc.
  • Identify & share end-user sales best practices across the organization
  • Identify and escalate sales execution blockers and work with the organization to resolve
  • Drive End User seeding programs with detailed tracking
  • Participate in business/campaign planning meetings
  • Contribute to solution transformation
  • Identify and provide inputs toward the development of key Vertical sales plays
  • Scale the knowledge of the vertical subject matter experts within the sales community by shaping training & sales materials targeted to end-user sales
  • Share examples of key solution wins in the region
  • Monitor sales performance and identify key actions to
  • Track and monitor load vs. budget & aspiration for end-user sales segments.
  • Ensure a sufficient pipeline of opportunities (including Service Attach) to achieve financial results
  • Manage/Track/Report Bid Fundings and liaise with Strategic Alliance Partners (Intel/AMD) for MeetComp
  • Ensure profit optimization
  • By working with markets on THINKEDGE margin recovery plans for top bleeding accounts
  • Proactively share profit recovery actions to the sales community (new commodity options w/cost savings, for example)
  • Drive end-user sales community development
  • Assist marketing to develop end-user sales training curriculums on THINKEDGE
  • Lead Customer Advisory Forum ideally with a quarterly frequency


You will report to Director EMEA OEM Business Actions.
