Amazon's UAE Retail team is looking for an exceptionally motivated and talented Vendor Ops Associate. The Vendor Ops Associate will be responsible for developing and owning the development for one of the categories at Amazon.ae. Within this role, the individual will have the opportunity to establish and maintain strong vendor partnerships, manage category profitability, and identify means to improve the customer experience. We are seeking a professional with broad skill-set which demonstrates analytical horsepower, excellent business judgment, strong vendor management and negotiations skills, deep curiosity to uncover how things work, and a passion for creating a world class shopping experience for our customers. You will work with vendors of all s and must have the leadership presence and communication skills to represent Amazon at all levels of these organizations. Experience in business analytics, strategic thinking, negotiations and operations are required.
Vendor Ops will be responsible for managing operations for Media category for external vendors and internal stakeholders. The job will require coordination with multiple stakeholders and hence require program management skills. It will include operations in UAE and KSA but based out of Dubai.
. Manage purchase and catalog operations
. Own reporting across business levers, key performance indicators, and financials
. Support the team in new vendor and selection onboarding.
. Analyze and solve problems that are blocking the business
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
. Strong communication skills & fluent knowledge of verbal & written English language.
. Demonstrated ability to deal with business tools & understand business metrics
. Demonstrated ability to perform in pressure environment with adherence to timelines
. Critical thinking & attention to detail of a narrative
. Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner
. Strong interpersonal skills & proven experience in managing stakeholders and vendors
. Strong business ethics, integrity & discretion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
. Experience in retail or e-commerce
