JOB PROFILE SUMMARY

Perform tasks related to receiving, warehousing and releasing materials into production or remote sites.
Impacts departmental operations and quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes
standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to
rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations. Coordinate/manage to
achieve on time delivery of materials to customer requirements on time, as well as maintain competitive
inventory levels by effective management of the supply chain, ERP and SAP.

The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by
standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with
guidance.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Physically and systemically receive, classify, and stock incoming individual material requisitions from
  • internal and external departments. This includes ERP updating, managing stocking conditions, and knowing
  • 'what is where'.
  • Use ERP and SAP to accurately move inventory and finished goods.
  • Issue/ Execute the requisitions, cycle counting, inventory discrepancies, scrapped or rejected parts,
  • Material Requisitions (MR), Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Delivery Note (DN), and Good Receive
  • Note (GRN) for material used in assembly/manufacturing of the product or for site activities.
  • Internal deliveries of parts and materials to the shop floor, including fork lift drivers.
  • Assure that the store has the necessary materials and resolve material shortages/overages through cycle
  • counting and physical inventory.
  • Help reconcile inventory discrepancies and report discrepancies to supervisor.
  • Interface with production, sales, purchasing and suppliers in order to schedule the receipt of material to
  • meet production demand.
  • Responsible for material scheduling for components and primary contact to track material readiness,
  • updating database, editing routines documents, procurement follow up and expediting management.
  • Send delivery instructions – provide the transport company with the information they require to deliver the shipments.
  • Identify and react to material plans that do not meet customer requirements. Monitor implementation of
  • corrective action plans.
  • Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized
  • expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
  • Evaluate and drive resolution on all manufacturing material quality and supply issues.
  • Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues
  • outside of defined instructions/parameters.
  • Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills
  • and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to
  • arrive at decisions.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish her / his own work.
  • In-depth understanding of how the work of her / his own team integrates with other teams and contributes
  • to the area.
  • May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework and resolves issues using
  • established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined
  • instructions/parameters.
  • This role will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues
  • through immediate action or short-term planning as well as establish the long-term planning.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the e-sourcing plan to reduce cost and cycle time.
  • Responsible for assigned commodities to meet the requirements of the business.
  • A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For
  • customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between
  • customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Advanced experience in the Manufacturing &Warehouse and Inventory.
  • Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high
  • school diploma with relevant experience).
  • Demonstrate ability to read, write and speak in local language & English.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficient in basic mathematics.
  • Aware of and comply with Stop Order, Concession, Non-Conforming Material, Material Identification
  • &Segregation, Documentation Configuration Control, and Good Documentation Practices as associated
  • with this position.

PREFERRED SKILLS :
  • Project Management Basics. SAP Experience as material management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Knowledge of computerized material flow methods.
  • Knowledge of quality and inventory control.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis methods.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple work tasks.
  • Focused on Results, analytical, motivated, clear thinker;
  • Ability to perform with high levels of ambiguity

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
  • 10 working hours per day without lunch and coffee break
